We all want
that perfect ending,
but we never notice
the stories with
blurry beginnings.

We want to see
that peace of mind,
that little something
that shows ambiguity
and leaves room
for our imagination.

We just want that clarity,
that we always have,
but always need more of.
It’s a pressure that builds
and separates our pretenses
at every crack of weakness.
